Teos on esillä Taidemaalariliiton teosvälitystilaisuudessa Kaapelitehtaalla Helsingissä 11.3.-20.3.2011. Muistumia-sarjan muut teokset voi nähdä Kuvagallerian albumissa: Uusimmat vesivärimaalaukset (2010-2011).
Teostiedot: Kehystetty teos, kehyksen ulkoreunan koko 96x121 cm, vitriinikehys, kuultavan valkea puulista, kirkas lasi.
Teoksessa yhdistyvät minua usein motivoivat piirteet: sekä konstruktivistinen että "vapaa" muoto ja puhdas, voimakas väri. Teoksen aihe – muistaminen, mieleen palauttaminen – viittaa tutunomaisuuden tuntemuksiin ja déjà vu -ilmiöön. Tuntuu kuin jokin asia olisi koettu jo aiemmin, vaikkei sitä voisikaan heti palauttaa mieleensä. Tai vaihtoehtoisesti asian tai tilanteen muistaa esimerkiksi tiettyjen värien ja muotojen kautta.

This artwork is exhibited at the Sales Exhibition of the Finnish Painters' Union at the Cable Factory in Helsinki in 11.3.-20.3.2011. Other works in the series Reminiscence can be seen in the Gallery Album: Newest Watercolour Paintings (2010-2011).
Artwork information: The framed watercolour painting raised from the backing with an inner moulding and with a wooden frame (100x140 cm) in translucent white colour and a bright glass.
The artwork contains some features often motivating my art:both the constructivist and the so called free form as well as the pure and the strong colour. The subject of the art work – remembering, reminiscence – refers to an experience of something bringing memories or to a feeling called déjà vu. A thing or an event can appear familiar to us even if we could not remember immediately what it really was. Sometimes one can remember the first certain colours or perticular forms.
